Al Garneen Island

Al Jarnin Island is a nature bird reserve located west of Abu Dhabi near Zarkoh Island.

Island is managed by the private office of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed. There is a rest house for His Highness and his family.

Seawater Reverse Osmosis Plant 100,000 IGD owned, operated, and maintained by AMPC.

- Diesel Power Generators: 2 Nos Cat 32 each 800 KVA, 2 Nos Cat 18 each 500 KVA. Owned by Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Office, operated and maintained by ADDC.

- 350 KW Solar Plant built by Masdar. Owner was Crown Prince Court. It is out of order.
